The Adamello Brenta Nature Park covers an area of 620 square kilometers and is the largest expanse of Trentino; it boasts, thanks to its remarkable biodiversity, more than a hundred specimens of flora, fauna and an important geological uniqueness.
The Adamello-Presanella massif lies to the west and is characterized by magnificent glaciers, lakes, streams and waterfalls. To the east, we find the breathtaking Brenta Dolomites, whose peculiarities are, on the contrary, countless spires and overhanging walls.
Among these worlds so geologically different, we find the Val Genova, Val Nambrone, Val Brenta and Vallesinella. These are the glaring example of landscape inequality.
Thanks to the extraordinary geological heritage, the unique biodiversity and the presence of a geo-tourism activity accompanied by a sustainable development strategy, In November 2015, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park was awarded the UNESCO Global Geopark Award.
